ギャルリーためながは、西洋絵画の名匠を扱う画廊として1969年銀座に開廊致しました。以来一貫してヨーロッパ絵画のスペシャリスト絵画のスペシャリストとして、近代絵画の巨匠作品を手がけるとともに、現代フランス画壇の代表作家を独占契約のもと紹介しております。1971年には大阪店をまた同年日本の画商として初めて開廊したパリ店は、30周年を迎えた2001年にパリ最大級の展示スペースを誇る画廊としてリニューアルし、ヨーロッパ美術館に少なからず影響を及ぼしております。近年では、欧米やアジアの世界各地に視野を広げ、近代・現代の作家紹介を担う画廊として中心的役割を果たしております。
Since Galerie Tamenaga opened its flagship gallery in Tokyo in 1969, it has brought to Japan the work of the modern masters of French and European paintings, including Chagall, Van Dongen, Dufy, Lautrec, Modigliani, Picasso, Renoir, Rouault, Utrillo, Vlaminck and others. In 1971, galleries were opened in Osaka and Paris.
Galerie Tamenaga handles such 18th-19th century masters as Goya and lngres in addition to the modern masterworks of the Impressionists, Post-Impressionists and Ecole de Paris.
Contemporary French artists including Buffet, Aizpiri, Guiramand, Cottavoz, Weisbuch and others are represented by Galerie Tamenaga on an exclusive contract basis. In recent years we have started showing the work of contemporary Japanese, Spanish, Italian and American artists: Masao Haijima, Nuit Sano, Angel Busca, Sebastian Nicolau, Tom Christopher and others. Galerie Tamenaga ?(deux) opened in the fall of 1996 to showcase their works. The galleries are now looking to broaden the scope of countries they represent including the rest of Europe and Asia.
